RECRUITMENT & STAFFING

The Alliance can help businesses screen and hire qualified workers for entry-level to advanced skill positions. Our Business Service Representatives work with employers to address overall recruitment needs, whether for individual openings or large-scale staffing requirements.

TRAINING & SKILLS UPGRADES

The Alliance customizes its training to meet the specific demands of businesses. Our courses are developed with direct input from employers to address specific skill shortages and certification requirements. Training can be provided at an employer’s site or at our new state-of -the-art facility, supported in part by corporate contributions from IBM. Alliance instructors are industry experts with knowledge of leading-edge skills and business applications. Our all-media tech lab offers students the latest in computer and audiovisual learning technology.

Our experience developing technology training stems from our partnership with the City University of New York (CUNY) Institute for Software Design and Development and businesses to address technology skills shortages. Alliance programs, funded by US Department of Labor Skill Shortage and H-1B Technical Skills Grants, were designed to create IT career pathways and reduce business and industry dependence on H 1-B visas to meet local labor force needs for specific technology occupations.
